I won a 64G 3G iPad from Rush Limbaugh several weeks ago, and since receiving it I have been absolutely satisfied with handy devise. I now have a reason to put digital copies of movies on an Apple product, surfing the internet while mobile much easier, it's easier to carry around than a laptop... The list goes on and on. My only complaints so far has been the need for Leopard software on your Mac computers. I only have Tiger so I am forced to use my PC's iTunes. The other is the price. This

The iPad aka Giant Ipod Touch was known the be the iPhone's prototype prior to the iPhone's release. I don't feel like searching this truth, so believe it or not. I am currently deployed to Afghanistan and have been using my iPad since i purchased it 3 months ago. I bought my iPad shortly after it came out. I thought it would be good for traveling and it was an interesting toy. I got to take it on a trip to Vancouver in August. It worked out great. I got Zinio so I could get a bunch of magazines to read on the plane. The screen is good (would have said very good before the iPhone 4 came out) for reading and the magazines came out sharp. I was recently in the market for a "large" screen device(larger than a smart phone) with internet access and a long battery life. I didn't want to spend a fortune on either the device or internet access, but it had to have mobile access not just wi-fi. I checked a variety of devices and settled for a cheap netbook and data plan from verizon that has worked great. I use it almost like I would my pc at home everywhere I go, and also use it as an e-reader. I will spend approximatedly $25.00 a month
